Andre Rosowsky, PhD
Dr. Rosowsky received his PhD degree in chemistry from the University of Rochester in 1962. After postodoctoral research in the Department of Chemistry at Harvard University under the direction of Dr. E.J. Corey, he joined the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Rosowsky is Associate Professor of Biological Chemistry and Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School. In 1987 he was appointed Associate Professor in the Division of Cancer Pharmacology, now part of the Department of Medical Oncology. He heads a group whose primary goal is the design of novel antifolates as anticancer and antiparasitic drugs.

Norton P. Peet, PhD, SAB Chair
Dr. Peet received his PhD degree from the University of Nebraska followed by a postdoctoral appointment at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Peet was founder and CEO of Aurigene Discovery Technologies, V.P. of Discovery Alliances at ArQule, and Head of Medicinal Chemistry and Distinguished Scientist at Aventis. Dr. Peet serves on several editorial boards and has authored 145 technical articles and books. He holds 65 US Patents, which largely cover enzyme inhibitors and receptor ligands for therapeutic targets in the areas of CNS, cardiovascular, metabolic and respiratory diseases, and oncology. Dr. Peet is active in the scientific community; he has organized and chaired several international symposia, he is a member of the IBC USA Board, and locally he has organized and chaired several NESACS Medicinal Chemistry Symposia.
Dr. Krupa S Rajur MD
Advisory Board Chair, Oncology Research
Dr. Rajur received her MD degree in internal medicine from Tufts University school of medicines and completed fellowship in Nephrology from Brown University RI. Currently she is serving as a nephrologist at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua and Dartmouth Hitchcock medical center, Manchester NH.

  Industrial post-doctoral and research scientist Positions in Drug Discovery

Industrial postdoctoral and researcher scientist positions are available in our medicinal chemistry division.

The project will involve design and optimization of flexible synthetic strategies for preparation of small molecules for oncology research.

The applicants must have:

  • PhD in Organic/medicinal chemistry
  • 1-2 year's prior postdoctoral experience
  • a competitive publication record
  • strong knowledge in modern synthetic organic/medicinal chemistry and analytical chemistry.

Previous experience working with parallel library synthesis, DNA encoded libraries and antibody-drug-conjugate (ADC) is desirable.

Entry level postdoctoral researchers will be considered and those with advanced postdoctoral training could be eligible for a Research scientist position.
